Description

Crispy, golden chicken tenders cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg and milk.
  4. Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mix.
  5. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  6. Place tenders in the air fryer in a single layer, ensuring space between them.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tenders with oil before cooking.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
