Ingredients

- 1 large onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Peel and slice the onion into 1/2-inch rings.
- Separate the rings and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each onion ring into the flour mix, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place onion rings in the basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Use sweet onions for a milder taste.
- Panko breadcrumbs yield extra crispiness.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
