Description

Crispy, healthy avocado fries that are baked or made in an air-fryer for a delicious snack or side dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or air-fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the avocados into thick slices.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the egg with water.
  5. Dip each avocado slice into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mix.
  6. Place the coated avocado slices on a baking sheet or air-fryer basket.
  7. Bake or air-fry for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Use firm but ripe avocados for best results.
  • For extra crispiness, spray the coated avocado slices lightly with cooking oil before baking or air-frying.
