- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or air-fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the avocados into thick slices.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg with water.
- Dip each avocado slice into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mix.
- Place the coated avocado slices on a baking sheet or air-fryer basket.
- Bake or air-fry for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use firm but ripe avocados for best results.
- For extra crispiness, spray the coated avocado slices lightly with cooking oil before baking or air-frying.
- Best served fresh, as they may soften if stored.
