Description

Crispy smashed sweet potatoes are a delicious and easy side dish. The natural sweetness pairs well with savory seasonings for a perfect balance.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Boil sweet potatoes until fork-tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain and let cool slightly.
  4. Place potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash them with a flat surface.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle seasonings evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  7. Garnish with rosemary before serving.
