Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake made without dairy, perfect for those with lactose intolerance or dairy allergies.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add eggs, water, oil, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  5. Pour batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
