- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg, vanilla, and red food coloring. Mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Fold in white chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer red color, add extra food coloring.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Let cookies cool completely before storing.
