- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
- In another bowl, combine 1 cup flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apples.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool before serving.

- Use firm apples like Granny Smith for best results.
- Chill the dough before rolling it out.
- Cover edges with foil if browning too quickly.
