Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine 1 cup flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apples.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool before serving.
