- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and water.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Bring to a boil and cook without stirring for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and salt.
- Pour caramel over popcorn and mix until coated.
- Let cool slightly, then shape into balls with buttered hands.
- Place on parchment paper to set.
