Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Cranberry Cheese Danish that combines sweet and tangy flavors for a perfect breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into 4 equal squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spoon a portion of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each puff pastry square. Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  5. Fold the corners of each puff pastry square over the filling, pressing gently to seal. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown and puffed.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

  • You can use store-bought or homemade cranberry sauce.
  • Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
