Ingredients

- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup cranberry jam
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Add milk and egg, then knead into a dough.
- Roll dough into a rectangle.
- Spread cranberry jam down the center.
- Cut diagonal strips along the sides and fold over the filling.
- Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and water for icing, then drizzle over the pastry.
Notes
- Use cold butter for best results.
- Let dough rest for 10 minutes before rolling.
- Adjust jam quantity to taste.
