- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in milk to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread melted butter over the dough.
- Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and cranberries evenly.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 8 pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk for the glaze, then drizzle over warm buns.
Notes
- Use fresh cranberries for a tangier flavor.
- Let buns cool slightly before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
