Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in milk to form a soft dough.
  5. Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  6. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and cranberries evenly.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 8 pieces.
  9. Place in a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Whisk powdered sugar and milk for the glaze, then drizzle over warm buns.
