Description

A simple and quick macaroni salad perfect for picnics, barbecues, or as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add cooked macaroni, celery, red onion, and bell pepper to the bowl. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • You can add chopped pickles or hard-boiled eggs for extra flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
