Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt to form the crust. Press into a greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Bake crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Whisk eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Stir in chopped pecans and pour over the baked crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set. Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For a crispier crust, pre-bake for an extra 5 minutes.
- Substitute walnuts if pecans are unavailable.
