Description

A quick and easy pumpkin spiced dump cake that requires minimal effort but delivers maximum flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. Bake for 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Do not stir the cake mix into the pumpkin mixture.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
