- 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Do not stir the cake mix into the pumpkin mixture.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
