Description

A simple and delicious rhubarb crisp with a crunchy oat topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread rhubarb in a baking dish and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  3. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the topping over the rhubarb.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Use fresh or frozen rhubarb.

  • Adjust sugar to taste if rhubarb is very tart.
