- 500g tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1 white onion, quartered
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 jalapeño, stemmed and seeded
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler. Place tomatillos, onion, garlic, and jalapeño on a baking sheet.
- Broil for 5-7 minutes until charred, turning halfway.
- Transfer the charred ingredients to a blender. Add cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
- Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
- For a milder salsa, remove jalapeño seeds completely.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
