Ingredients

  • 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread in a skillet.
  3. Mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Stir in melted butter and milk until a dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough over the apples.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
