Description

Espresso chocolate chip cookies combine rich coffee flavor with sweet chocolate chips for a delicious treat.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tbsp instant espresso powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg, vanilla, and espresso powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Cool on wire rack before serving.
