Description

Eyeball cupcakes are a fun and spooky treat perfect for Halloween. These cupcakes feature a creepy eyeball design made with frosting and candies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix (or your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can of white frosting
  • Red and blue food coloring
  • 24 round candies (like M&Ms or jelly beans)
  • Black icing gel

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix with water, oil, and eggs as per the package instructions.
  3. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and fill each liner 2/3 full with batter.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
  5. Divide the white frosting into two bowls. Tint one bowl with red food coloring and the other with blue.
  6. Frost each cupcake with the white frosting as the base.
  7. Place a round candy in the center of each cupcake.
  8. Use the black icing gel to draw a pupil on each candy to create the eyeball effect.
  9. Add red and blue frosting around the candy to mimic veins for a spooky look.
  10. Serve and enjoy your creepy Eyeball Cupcakes!
