Description

A festive red, white, and blue Bundt cake perfect for patriotic celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • red food coloring
  • blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a Bundt pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Add wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Divide batter into 3 portions.
  5. Color one portion red and one blue.
  6. Layer batters in the pan: red, plain, blue.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before serving.

  • Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors
