Ingredients

- 2 duck breasts
- 1 tbsp five spice powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Score the duck skin in a crisscross pattern.
- Season the duck breasts with salt, pepper, and five spice powder.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sear the duck skin-side down for 5 minutes until crispy.
- Flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Mix honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
- Brush the glaze over the duck and cook for 1 more minute.
- Rest the duck for 5 minutes before slicing.
