- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Green food coloring
- Black icing
- White icing
- Mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Add green food coloring until the dough is bright green.
- Roll out dough and cut into rectangular shapes for Frankenstein’s face.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool completely.
- Use black icing to draw hair, eyes, and stitches.
- Add white icing for highlights and mini chocolate chips for bolts.
Notes
- Chill dough for 30 minutes if too sticky.
- Use a toothpick for fine details in icing.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
