- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 12 mini slider buns
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized.
- In a separate pan, cook ground beef until browned. Add Worcestershire sauce.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Assemble sliders by placing beef and onions on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with cheese and the other half of the bun.
- Place sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife to slice onions thinly.
- For extra flavor, toast the buns before assembling.
- Substitute Gruyère with Swiss cheese if desired.
