Description

Pico de Gallo is a fresh, uncooked salsa made with tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and lime. It’s perfect for topping tacos, grilled meats, or enjoying with tortilla chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 small white onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and dice the tomatoes.
  2. Finely chop the onion and cilantro.
  3. Remove seeds from jalapeños and mince.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture.
  6. Add salt and mix well.
  7. Let it sit for 15 minutes before serving.
