Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender shrimp tossed in a garlic butter sauce with pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
  6. Add cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

  • Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
