- 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Pour in broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
- Add cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- Add a splash of white wine for extra depth.
- Substitute half-and-half if you don’t have heavy cream.
