- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Let it cool.
- Whisk sugars, egg, and vanilla into the cooled butter.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in hazelnuts.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
