Description

Soft and fluffy dinner rolls brushed with honey butter for a sweet, golden finish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp softened butter (for honey butter glaze)
  • 1 tbsp honey (for honey butter glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add honey, melted butter, salt, and egg. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Shape into rolls and place in a greased baking pan.
  8. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Mix softened butter and honey, then brush over warm rolls.

Notes

  • Use whole milk for richer rolls.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for best results.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
