Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp softened butter (for honey butter glaze)
- 1 tbsp honey (for honey butter glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add honey, melted butter, salt, and egg. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape into rolls and place in a greased baking pan.
- Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Mix softened butter and honey, then brush over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use whole milk for richer rolls.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for best results.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
