Quick and easy honey garlic shrimp with a sweet and savory glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce if you prefer it thicker.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen shrimp. Thaw frozen shrimp before cooking.
- Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste.
- Add more red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
