Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 strips of mozzarella cheese
- 24 small black olives (for eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into small oval meatballs.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Wrap each meatball with mozzarella strips to resemble mummy bandages.
- Add olive slices for eyes.
- Return to oven for 3 minutes to melt cheese.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use lean beef for less grease.
- Chill meat mixture for easier shaping.
- For spicier meatballs, add red pepper flakes.
