Description

A spicy twist on the classic tuna melt with jalapeño popper flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix tuna, cream cheese, jalapeño, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly on one slice of bread.
  3. Top with the second slice to form a sandwich.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Remove jalapeño seeds for less heat.
  • Use whole wheat bread for a healthier option.
