- 2 lbs (900g) chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade, coating evenly. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until browned.
- Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables.
- You can use chicken breast instead of thighs for a leaner option.
