- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
