- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Place cod fillets in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the cod and sprinkle with zest.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
