- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter.
- Press mixture into a lined 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Bake crust for 10 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, then lemon juice and zest.
- Pour filling over crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother filling.
- Chill bars for cleaner cuts.
- Store in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
