Description
A quick and easy dish with tender shrimp cooked in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for 1 more minute.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best texture.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
