Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish with shrimp, garlic, lemon, and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and butter until melted.
  6. Toss in cooked pasta and parsley, mix well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
  • Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
