A quick and flavorful dish featuring shrimp cooked in a garlicky lemon butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz (225g) linguine or spaghetti (optional)
Instructions
- If using pasta, cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Increase heat to medium-high. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink.
- Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Cook for 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper. Stir in parsley.
- Toss with pasta if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of chicken broth.
- Substitute white wine with chicken broth if preferred.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
