- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, applesauce, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Spoon batter into the donut pan, filling each mold halfway.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
