Description
A delicious twist on classic mac and cheese, baked inside a crispy calzone crust.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
- Roll out pizza dough into a large circle. Spoon mac and cheese onto one half.
- Fold dough over and seal edges with a fork. Cut slits on top.
- Brush with egg wash for a golden crust.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Add cooked bacon or vegetables for extra flavor.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
