- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir in pecans.
- Pour the filling over the crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
