Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (for greasing)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease ramekins with butter and dust with powdered sugar.
  3. Whip egg whites until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add granulated sugar while continuing to whip.
  5. Fold in maple syrup gently.
  6. Spoon mixture into prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until risen and golden.
  8. Serve immediately.

  • Do not open oven door while baking.
  • Use fresh egg whites for best results.
  • Serve immediately as soufflés deflate quickly.
