A delicious twist on classic meatball subs, these sliders are perfect for parties, game days, or a quick family meal. Tender meatballs, marinara sauce, and melted cheese come together in a soft slider bun.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 6 slider buns
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into 12 small meatballs and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Warm marinara sauce in a pan and coat meatballs lightly.
- Slice slider buns in half and place bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Arrange meatballs on buns, top with mozzarella slices, and broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Brush bun tops with melted butter mixed with parsley.
- Assemble sliders and serve warm.
