Description

Delicious mini apple galettes, perfect for a quick dessert or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 23 tablespoons ice water
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut into small circles.
  6. Toss apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  7. Place apple slices in the center of each dough circle.
  8. Fold edges of dough over apples, leaving the center open.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Use cold butter for flaky crust.
  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
