Description

Classic blueberry muffins with a soft, moist texture and bursts of fresh blueberries. Perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in blueberries.
  5. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature ingredients for best results.
  • Do not overmix the batter to keep muffins tender.
  • Frozen blueberries can be used; dust with flour to prevent sinking.
