- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli recommended)
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken breasts to the pan. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken, let rest for 2 minutes, then slice into strips.
- Toss cooked pasta with pesto until evenly coated.
- Top pasta with sliced chicken and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

- Use store-bought or homemade pesto.
- Add cherry tomatoes or spinach for extra flavor.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
