A spooky yet delicious Poison Apple Cake perfect for Halloween parties. This cake looks like a poisoned apple but tastes sweet and moist.

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Red food coloring
- Green fondant (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and baking soda.
- Beat butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Alternate adding flour mixture and buttermilk.
- Add red food coloring until the batter is dark red.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Let it cool.
- Decorate with green fondant to mimic an apple stem and leaf.
