Soft and chewy pumpkin chocolate chip brownies with a rich chocolate flavor and a hint of pumpkin spice.

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
- For extra chocolate flavor, add more chocolate chips on top before baking.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
