Delicious baked pumpkin donuts coated in cinnamon sugar for a sweet autumn treat.

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon (for coating)
- 1/4 cup melted butter (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a donut pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and spices in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk brown sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pipe or spoon batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool donuts for 5 minutes, then dip in melted butter and coat with cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm or store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Use canned or fresh pumpkin puree.
- For fluffier donuts, don’t overmix the batter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat briefly in the microwave before serving.
