Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour to form a roux, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually add milk, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Mix in pumpkin puree, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
- Serve warm.
