Description

Soft and fluffy pumpkin milk bread with a hint of sweetness.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down dough and shape into a loaf. Place in a greased pan.
  5. Let rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Use fresh pumpkin puree for best results.
  • Adjust sugar based on preference.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
